Gallagher Bassett is seeking to improve their analytics and AI products for colleagues and customers by hiring a Business Analyst to identify key requirements, ensure proper documentation, and bring new products to life.
Requirements
- Experience working with analytics and AI products preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically workers compensation and liability claims, preferred
- Consolidate & formalize requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders
- Impeccable documentation and business writing skills
- Ability to work independently, flexible and adaptable attitude, can manage shifting priorities, requests, and timelines
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles
- Flexibility in use of SDLC frameworks - Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Define and document product requirements by partnering with business stakeholders, technical colleagues and vendors
- Conduct User Acceptance testing with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure the product is built to meet the requirements
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Execute change management strategies and plans to ensure the successful deployment of new products and processes
- Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications to ensure stakeholders and product users are informed and engaged throughout the change process
- Collaborate with training and development teams to design and deliver training programs to support the adoption of new products and processes
- Create and maintain resource documentation and resource sites to support end users

- Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience
- 4-6 years of experience as a business analyst
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a team environment and build trust with key business partners
- Open to constructive feedback and learning from an experienced team
