Sentara Health is looking for a Business Analyst to design and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business operations, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights.
Requirements
- utilize SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools to extract and manipulate data
- conduct statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making
- maintain data structures, queries, and reporting tools to support business needs
- work closely with IT teams to ensure data availability and system functionality
- documenting business processes, data sources, and reporting methodologies
- identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement
- providing recommendations for enhancing data collection, storage, and analysis methods
Responsibilities

- assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of business information systems
Other
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data reporting, or analytics
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT to understand reporting needs
