Requirements

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel including functions and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with software such as Power BI/SharePoint
  • Extensive experience analyzing data, identify trends, and providing data driven recommendations
  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the state insurance department
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task

Responsibilities

  • EVALUATES underwriting and process changes made or proposed by partners
  • DETERMINES impact of changes on the agency or department metrics and RECOMMENDS type and method of communication and implementation to management
  • COMMUNICATES changes to the Insurance Services department associates and management
  • REPORTS underwriting processing discrepancies to management and RECOMMENDS appropriate actions to resolve deficiencies
  • DEVELOPS and REVISES procedures, to meet company and policy processing requirements and to comply with state laws and regulations
  • COLLABORATES with the Project Management Team to ensure new systems are successfully implemented with accurate partner underwriting guidelines incorporated
  • ASSISTS in testing new applications, new state/policy forms for an existing partner, or new systems/applications

Other

  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with dynamic teams
