Abacus Insights is looking to transform the healthcare payer industry by providing a platform that organizes and exchanges healthcare data, enabling customers to uncover insights, improve health outcomes, and lower costs. The Business and Data Analyst will focus on decomposing key requirements and producing documentation for client implementation success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
Responsibilities
- Develop designs for modifications to existing Abacus Insights Platform components or for creating new components that work in concert with the existing Abacus Insights Platform
- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and platforms as needed, including mobile, tablet and cloud services
- Analyze business requests and develop business requirements, design details, and systemic solutions
- Analyze data/reports to validate quality of information, identify trends, highlight patterns, define inconsistencies and summarize/present findings and results
- Assist as needed with QA and application support for clients and our product support group
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or other equivalent work experience or training
- Capacity to build and manage working relationships with internal and external team members
- Ability to multi-task and react positively to frequent changes in priorities
- Ability to communicate succinctly and clearly, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to positively impact process improvement and process management
