The business problem is to support a Federal government client with business process and data analysis, and to optimize and advance impactful government initiatives, specifically for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience creating epics, user stories and acceptance criteria in living knowledge repository.
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as R, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Experience with government processes and regulations, particularly with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps environments.
- Experience facilitating requirement gathering, conducting research, and developing business requirement documentation.
- Leadership experience, especially in guiding cross-functional teams, is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master; Project Management and or others related to Process Improvement and Data Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead engagements with stakeholders to document and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance business operations and efficiency.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as R, Tableau, and Power BI to support decision-making and present complex data in an accessible format to stakeholders.
- Technical Liaison: Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Living Documentation and Analysis: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications to guide the development team in a living knowledge repository.
- Problem Resolution: Partner with design and technology teams to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
- Agile Team Collaboration: Actively contribute to Agile project teams, supporting project deliverables and participating in DevSecOps initiatives.

- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Must reside in the U.S. and work must be performed in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business and Data Analyst.
- Current Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain such clearance.
