Microsoft's Commercial Solution Area and Cloud and AI Platforms (CAIP) Solution Area are looking to drive innovation and deliver comprehensive solutions to customers by empowering them with cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies. The Business Architect will lead global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for migration and modernization, driving growth across all customer segments, and blending product strategy, partner ecosystem development, sales orchestration, enablement, operations, and marketing alignment.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
- 3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in go-to-market execution, including the design and deployment of scaled and structured sales program, sales campaigns, budget management, and/or headcount planning.
- 8+ years in business management, strategy, operations, sales and technical sales, or program leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market execution, including the design and deployment of scaled and structured sales programs, sales campaigns, budget management, and headcount planning.
- GTM experience with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI portfolio or similar enterprise tech platforms and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive scalable GTM plans aligned with market trends, customer needs, and Microsoft priorities.
- Track objective and key results (OKRs)/key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead cross-org initiatives.
- Influence corporate and field teams to build consensus and momentum around GTM strategy.
- Define and orchestrate sales motions that accelerate pipeline velocity and customer success.
- Shape coverage models and resource allocation to optimize growth and efficiency.
- Design performance-driven incentive structures aligned with business goals.
- Represent GTM in executive forums, synthesize insights, and ensure unified messaging across teams.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
