Aquila Technology is seeking a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Specialist to support one of the country's premier defense research organizations by ensuring all IT assets, configurations, and service dependencies are accurately tracked and up-to-date in the CMDB, supporting better decision-making and faster incident resolution.
Requirements
- 4 years – ServiceNow Multi-Source Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Administration
- 3 years – ServiceNow IT Service Management
- 4 years – Basic understanding of IT System Administrator processes & terminology
- 2 years – Translates Business Requirements into Technical Specifications
- 2 years – Understands and Executes Project Requirements
- Application and infrastructure monitoring (system performance, identifying issues, troubleshooting)

Responsibilities
- support the CMDB including inventory, service mapping, and service observability through the SolarWinds platform.
- ensure that all IT assets, configurations, and service dependencies are accurately tracked and up-to-date, maintaining a comprehensive inventory in the CMDB that supports better decision-making and faster incident resolution.
- responsible for administration of the CMDB, responding to users questions and updating documentation.
- work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain an accurate inventory of assets.
- drive data quality standards, identify & implement process improvements, and ensure an accurate representation of assets & services in ServiceNow.
- integrating alerts into ServiceNow (ITOM)
- Logging and Monitoring (SolarWinds, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog)

- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Active Secret Clearance
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance and obtain an SCI.
- Remote – must be willing to travel to MA
- Candidates MUST be able to work an EST schedule
