ICF is seeking a Junior Business Data Analyst to analyze and interpret complex datasets to generate actionable insights that meet client needs, translate raw data into meaningful dashboards and reports, and guide users in understanding their reporting needs to maximize business value.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with application programming and database concepts, including SQL scripting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Business or Data Analyst role using tools like SharePoint, JIRA, or similar systems
- At least 1 year of experience working with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive data profiling and analysis based on client datasets to identify patterns and insights
- Collaborate with UI teams and clients to define Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements
- Support developers by gathering and clarifying data and reporting needs from business owners
- Develop and customize reports and data visualization products to meet client specifications
- Analyze data within Data Warehouses to understand data locations and leverage BI tools for report and dashboard creation
- Guide and educate users on their reporting needs, helping them understand and evolve their reporting strategies
- Link business needs to existing BI tools and scope out feasible solutions that deliver maximum value
