Harris Recording Solutions (HRS) is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team to drive process improvement, cost management, and customer satisfaction by providing innovative software solutions for County Clerks, County Recorders, and County and Municipal Courts.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell)
- Experience leveraging AI tools for analysis, reporting, or automation is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with local government operations or enterprise software (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable presenting and demoing software to clients.
- Curious, adaptable, and proactive with a willingness to step outside traditional BA responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Design, test, and execute ETL (extract, transform, load) processes for data migrations.
- Apply strong SQL and scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for data manipulation.
- Map legacy system data to new application formats with precision.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and normalization to ensure migration quality.
- Champion the use of AI for efficiencies in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong project management skills
