NTT DATA is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to support a data migration project, ensuring reporting, analytics, and data requirements are met for new platforms.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years as a Business Analyst / BSA, preferably in data/analytics projects.
  • 3–5+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role.
  • Proven experience working on Data Warehouse / ETL / Analytics projects, ideally including cloud migration or modernization.
  • Prior involvement in programs that include platform or ETL migration (e.g., legacy DW cloud, Informatica dbt/other ELT).

Responsibilities

  • Document current-state data flows, ETL logic, and reporting usage across Yellowbrick, Informatica, and BI tools.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for:
  • Create and maintain source-to-target mappings (STMs) and data dictionaries for key subject areas.
  • Clarify and document business rules, transformations, and data quality expectations for the new platforms.
  • Support prioritization of scope and features based on business value and technical dependencies.
  • Own and manage the product backlog for one or more squads (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt/ETL, or Testing).
  • Plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies

Other

  • Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to understand reporting, analytics, and data requirements impacted by the migration.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming / refinement sessions, ensuring stories are:
  • Ensure each story has clear acceptance criteria and traceability to upstream requirements and program objectives.
  • Act as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional squads (onshore/offshore).
  • Track and manage sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, capacity, committed vs delivered scope).
