The Checkpoint Modernization Program Office (CPMO) needs to gather, analyze, and translate business and operational data into actionable insights to ensure data-driven decision-making for acquisition planning, performance monitoring, and program risk management across a $1.5 billion modernization portfolio.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management practices.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or equivalent data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze program, financial, and performance data from multiple modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and risk tracking tools to measure portfolio progress and identify trends.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess cost, schedule, and performance impacts.
- Document and improve business processes, workflows, and data flows to align with CBP modernization goals.
- Elicit and refine business and functional requirements for acquisition planning, portfolio integration, and reporting tools.
- Provide data to support market research, acquisition strategy, and contracting milestones.
- Prepare briefings, visualizations, and reports for senior CBP and DHS leadership, ensuring technical data is clearly communicated to non-technical audiences.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Public Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or program support in a federal or large program environment.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition and program management processes.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
