The Oil & Energy sector is seeking a Business Data Scientist I to assist in building sophisticated data models, generating insights, and applying artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI) tools to uncover business opportunities and streamline decision-making processes. The goal is to develop scalable, data-driven solutions that power operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically: Power Apps (application development), Power Pages (web app creation), Power Automate (workflow automation)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, business intelligence tools, and cloud-based analytics environments.
- Solid programming foundation in Python, SQL, or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and AI model integration.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business intelligence reporting, data models, and advanced analytical solutions.
- Design scalable, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation.
- Create and optimize data visualization tools and dashboards to enhance user accessibility and decision-making.
- Assist in developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive statistical models to solve key business challenges.
- Work with large datasets in hybrid cloud environments across multiple systems, utilizing machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deploy end-end data solutions aligned with business goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to data governance and security best practices.
