U.S. Bank is seeking a data-driven analyst to support their Business Deposits product team by shaping data-driven strategies and developing recommendations that balance risk avoidance with exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Geo-spatial tools and others to perform analysis and interpret data
- Proficiency working with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, MS Excel, as well as MS Office
- Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate and interpret data to solve business problems.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights and influence strategy.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with experience in financial services or risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead big data and analytics projects by gathering, integrating, and analyzing large volumes of data from multiple sources.
- Identify trends and patterns in complex datasets to answer key business questions and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations, and present findings in a clear, compelling format to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Collaborate across teams to provide a holistic view of analysis and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor the impact of implemented recommendations and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure all data handling and sharing practices comply with company standards.

- Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping solutions in a dynamic environment.
- The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
