BrightView is looking for a Business Developer to improve its market position and achieve profitable financial growth by building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and closing business deals.
Requirements
- Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
- Proficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with a CRM or SFA tool
- Proven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to build client-centric and solution/value-based proposals
- Working experience with social media
Responsibilities
- Accurately forecast sales deliverables and KPI’s
- Perform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long standing business relationships; marketing; pricing.
- Prepares and conducts heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision.
- Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate value of BrightView services
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Builds and maintains trust-based professional relationships with key decision makers
- Logs activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce)
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels, 3-5 years of experience
- Highly competitive, positive, and results driven
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed
- Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable
