BrightView is looking to improve its market position and achieve profitable financial growth through the Business Developer role, which aims to build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals.
Requirements
- Proficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with a CRM or SFA tool
- Working experience with social media
- Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
- Proven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to build client-centric and solution/value-based proposals
Responsibilities
- Work with prospective customers to discover their points of pain and develop solutions
- Accurately forecast sales deliverables and KPI’s
- Perform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long-standing business relationships
- Prepare and conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision
- Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate value of BrightView services
- Log activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce)
- Plan daily and hit specific activity benchmarks and close business
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid-to-senior levels, 3-5 years of experience
- Ability to travel by car, train, and plane
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed
