Requirements
- Experience or understanding of North American railway or rail transit industry segment.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
- Familiarity with strategic or product marketing, including Value Story creation and launching new technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial growth strategies.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into business solutions.
- Experience in structuring, pricing, negotiating, and closing business opportunities.
- Leadership experience in rail or transit operations and system maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Leading the Services commercial team in all aspects of portfolio growth, including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication for accounts in the US and Canada.
- Serving as the primary conduit between Alstom and assigned customers, in coordination with the Alstom Customer Director team, to develop a deep understanding of their business operations and how Alstom’s products and services deliver added value.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships and communication at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
- Collaborating with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives.
- Structuring, pricing, negotiating, and closing business opportunities.
- Leading the preparation and strategy of winning proposals during the Bid/Tender phase, ensuring alignment to the tender schedule, customer requirements, and delivery approach.
- Demonstrating domain knowledge of North American passenger and transit business operations, market environment, and Alstom’s value proposition in Maintenance and Operations Services.

- Full-time remote Business Developer in Atlanta, GA. This role may also be fully remote in the Southeast US region.
