Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead all activities in standing up new customers in a B2B flow for wearables, reporting to the Director of Eyewear Sales.
Requirements
- Experience in strategy in both business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales
- Experience in go-to-market planning and execution
- Experience advocating for innovation and the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies
- Prior experience in building new business channels or planning and logistics
- Expert-level command of dashboards and tools and can communicate to the customer
- Product knowledge launches or training
- Understanding of market share of category, retail partner, and product
Responsibilities
- Forming partnerships and developing trusted relationships across cross-functional teams
- Partnering with cross-functional leadership to define and develop scalable processes to identify growth opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Providing clear process mapping for internal/external stakeholders
- Providing product feature expertise and consistently demonstrate this value to retail partners
- Developing standard operating procedures for initiating new account set up and flows
- Demonstrating an understanding of partner business strategy and objectives
- Developing & executing strategic engagement plan & participation strategy for key retail partner Initiatives
Other
- BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience
- 5+ years in a role demonstrating execution strategy
- 3+ years of product knowledge launches or training
- Travel to meet key accounts face to face
- Communication and presentation skills with business acumen
