Johnson Electric is looking to expand its global customer base and product portfolio, particularly within the robotics industry, by hiring a Business Development Manager.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in the robotics or cobot industry, with strong product and market insights
- Background in motion/drive solution design and development
- Engineering knowledge in micro-motors, sensors, actuators, or application engineering
Responsibilities
- Consolidate product requirements and collaborate with engineering on roadmap execution
- Analyze market trends and present new product strategies to leadership
- Ensure consistent global pricing strategies and resolve cost-related issues
- Coordinate tooling and fixture schedules with internal and external teams
- Support margin adjustments and concessions to secure comprehensive business packages
Other
- Develop and drive commercial strategy for the robotics segment
- Lead pricing, service, and contract negotiations to secure profitable business
- Manage P&L for assigned customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and networks
- Some experience managing global customer accounts
- International work experience is a plus
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese preferred but not required
- Frequent international travel, including to mainland China
