Banyan Software is looking to solve the problem of acquiring, building, and growing great enterprise software businesses, specifically Alpine Software, which serves the public safety industry with its SaaS products, and needs a Business Development Representative to drive sales growth.
Requirements
- 2+ years of quota carrying sales experience, ideally within the public sector or a SaaS organization
- Public Safety software experience (preferably in Fire or Emergency Management)
- Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota goals
- A strategic mind, someone who comes up with innovative ideas and then effectively executes said ideas to boost efficiency
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Alpine’s software and how it serves our customers
- Represent Alpine Software at trade shows, industry events, and in-person networking opportunities
- Identify quality prospects within an assigned territory through emails, meetings and phone calls
- Manage and build a sales pipeline
- Support discovery with assigned agencies on their needs for end-to-end software solutions
- Maintain current understanding of public safety industry including software ecosystem, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape, and business practices
- Comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for the role
