Macy's is looking for a Governance Analyst to support the Manager, Business Governance by focusing on data analysis, reporting, and business insights to aid strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Smartsheet is critical.
- Analyze and manipulate data sets using Excel, identifying patterns, trends, and key insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, PowerBI, and Smartsheet.
- Generate reports and executive-ready presentations using PowerPoint and Canva to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Support the design and maintenance of governance reporting frameworks.
- Identify data-related issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across reporting and visualization tools.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders.
- Flexibility in working hours based on department and company needs is essential.
