Elevance Health is looking for an expert in data mining analyses to serve as a team lead for their ad hoc client reporting team, overseeing daily operations and acting as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is highly preferred.
- 4-5 years of SQL coding experience highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of Snowflake experience highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of R highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of Python highly preferred.
- Experience in analysis of health care data, including clinical programs and member engagement highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Health care coding sets (i.e., ICD-10) highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
- Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
- Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
- Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
- Oversees day to day operations of the production team.
- Acts as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.

- This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance.
- Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Mason, OH, Chicago, IL, Wallingford, CT, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Richmond, VA or Middletown, NY.
- Requires a BS/BA degree, minimum of 6 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization is highly preferred.
- Process improvement experience highly preferred.
