Literati is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Engineer to centralize and standardize data from disparate source systems, enabling a comprehensive view of the business and informing high-value decisions through SQL models and Sigma reports. The role also involves potentially consolidating and standardizing ML pipelines and managing GCP analytical resources.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience using data engineering, analytical, and business intelligence reporting tools to build ELT/ETL pipelines, SQL models in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and reports/dashboards
- Experience with Snowflake, Sigma Reporting, DBT, Airbyte/Fivetran, GCP, Jupyter notebooks, Python, and ML
- Experience with inventory systems or retail back-end
- Strong mind for storing, organizing, processing, and presenting data in the "best" way
Responsibilities
- By bringing in disparate source systems’ data and relating it, you’ll enable a comprehensive view of the business.
- You’ll consult with operational teams and data scientists and build SQL models and Sigma reports to inform high-value decisions.
- you’ll also help in the effort to consolidate and standardize our machine learning (ML) pipelines and help manage our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytical resources.
- This position spans the breadth of business intelligence and data engineering – from requirements gathering to pulling source data to relating it in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) models to building reports.
- Build DBT models using SQL/Jinja to collect, process, and present data
- Work with operational and data science teams to identify data and reporting needs
- Build Sigma reports and dashboards to coherently present data to the business
