Rios Partners is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to use data and visual analytics to provide valuable insights and solutions to their clients, specifically focusing on a client in the public sector. The role involves creating technical solutions, developing data storage tools, and ensuring the reliability of Tableau dashboards and reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, dashboard design, and data visualization.
- 5+ years of experience in SQL for cleaning, transforming, and performing complex calculations on large datasets.
- Expertise in advanced Tableau features, including LOD expressions, table calculations, data blending, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with data warehouses (Redshift preferred).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (dbt preferred) and data transformation methodologies.
- Experience integrating Tableau with APIs, cloud platforms, and third-party data sources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Design and implementing data models and ETL processes using SQL to prepare data for analysis in Tableau.
- Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate insights and trends.
- Troubleshoot issues with Tableau reports and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Keep up-to-date with Tableau best practices, updates, and new features to enhance reporting capabilities.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e. must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in the US for the past three years consecutively)
- Must be willing to operate in a hybrid environment, including work in person at a client site in the DC Metro area and at the Rios Partners office in Arlington, VA as needed
