The Financial Data & Analytics team at Robert Half is seeking a BI Data Architect IV to shape the enterprise data architecture, ensure data consistency, and enable high-impact reporting and analytics across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working with large, complex data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Proven experience in data modeling, ETL pipeline design, and semantic layer development.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to business stakeholders and executives.
- Experience with BI tools such as Domo, Cognos, OBIEE, or MicroStrategy.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with both traditional and cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with Knowledge Base tools like Collibra, Data.world, Document360, Confluence etc.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and international business concepts, including currency exchange.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of semantic data models, data definitions, and metric standards to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
- Partner with business and technical teams to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Design and maintain data models, data mappings, and metadata documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is sourced from systems of record and aligned with business needs.
- Support the migration and integration of data across platforms, ensuring data quality and governance standards are upheld.
- Contribute to the development of business data definitions and support the standardization of key financial and operational terms (e.g., RH Affiliate vs. Company).
- Provide guidance on data governance best practices, including data privacy, security, and compliance.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in data, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, including intercompany transactions.
- Strong business writing and documentation skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus but not required.
