The Financial Data & Analytics team at Robert Half is seeking a BI Data Architect IV to shape the enterprise data architecture, ensure data consistency, and enable high-impact reporting and analytics across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with large, complex data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
  • Proven experience in data modeling, ETL pipeline design, and semantic layer development.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to business stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Domo, Cognos, OBIEE, or MicroStrategy.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with both traditional and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience with Knowledge Base tools like Collibra, Data.world, Document360, Confluence etc.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and international business concepts, including currency exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of semantic data models, data definitions, and metric standards to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Design and maintain data models, data mappings, and metadata documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is sourced from systems of record and aligned with business needs.
  • Support the migration and integration of data across platforms, ensuring data quality and governance standards are upheld.
  • Contribute to the development of business data definitions and support the standardization of key financial and operational terms (e.g., RH Affiliate vs. Company).
  • Provide guidance on data governance best practices, including data privacy, security, and compliance.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in data, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, including intercompany transactions.
  • Strong business writing and documentation skills.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus but not required.
