AmTrust needs a Data Engineer (Analytics Specialist) to build robust data warehouse/marts/sets to enable business users to make informed decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years minimum experience writing SQL, DAX, SSAS, and creating SSIS Packages
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Git, Agile
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure analytics data needs align with organizational goals and priorities and elevate our business processes
- Develops ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a format suitable for analysis across AmTrust
- Create moderately complex data models that describe the relationship between different data entities
- Design advanced validation and cleansing processing to identify and fix data quality issues for quality and accuracy of the data throughout
- Work with IT resources to integrate data warehouse data, test and validate report building, process automation, and dashboard development
Other
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent years of work experience
- Medium-to-Advanced level understanding of business processes of a variety of areas in the company including finance, operations, underwriting, sales, claims, and actuarial
