Supports the development and implementation of labor and productivity management across the Avera Health system
Requirements
- Knowledge in PowerBI and SQL
- Bachelor's in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Master's in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields
- Doctorate (PHD) in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields
- Knowledge of healthcare finance, payroll, labor productivity, and/or HR analytics
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling and insightful visualizations using PowerBI to effectively communicate complex healthcare data trends, patterns, and key performance indicators
- Collaborate closely with internal partners (Clinical Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Strategy & Integration) and external partners (doctors, nurses, executives, finance, supply chain, HR, marketing, etc) to understand their data needs within the ecosystem
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within healthcare operations and internal processes by utilizing automation, and optimizing workflows
- Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the datasets in partnership with the data engineering team
- Partner closely with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and collectively generate comprehensive insights that contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, providing training and support as needed to enable end-users to interpret and leverage data for their specific roles
