Kelmar is looking to support the vision of their KAPS application by designing, developing, and troubleshooting business intelligence reports.
Requirements
- 1 to 3+ years of previous experience in Jaspersoft, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, or other Business Intelligence Reporting software.
- Knowledge working with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
- Experience writing HTML and XML preferred
- Experience with code review processes and best practices
- Hands-on experience with source control systems, particularly Git
Responsibilities
- Develop complex reports using Jaspersoft
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and suggest new queries
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Design and develop dashboards and other visualizations
- Trouble shoot data issues and validate result sets
- Ensure reports are of the highest quality
- Participate in design and code reviews following industry best practices

- Ability to prioritize requests
- Work within the Agile methodology
- Recommend process enhancements
- Ability to analyze and interpret client requests
- Must possess a high level of organization and be able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments effectively
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Occasional travel required – 10% of time
- Willing to work off-hours and weekends as needed
