Riverside Health System is looking to enhance its business and clinical intelligence capabilities, as well as realize its data science strategy, by developing advanced data products and analytics solutions.
Requirements
- Epic Cogito certification required within 120 days
- Epic certification(s) in assigned data models required within 1 year
- Expertise in clinical, revenue, and/or patient movement data models
- Proficiency in EPIC Reporting Application(s)
- SQL development skills
- Data extraction skills
- Relational database concepts
- Business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Cogito SQL, Reporting Workbench, MoveIT
Responsibilities
- Data Product Development: create both ad-hoc and automated data products in support of the organization's data strategy
- Stakeholder Communication: initiates timely communication and analyzes customer / project team reporting needs
- Cogito Analytics: design comprehensive reporting solutions using Cogito tools and SQL
- iCare Maintenance: reviews Nova Notes upgrade documentation related to Cogito tools and content
- Implement special assignments and projects as directed by a Business and Clinical Intelligence Manager
- Certification and Training: maintain Epic Certification New Version Training (NVT) in assigned coverage areas
- Research and proactively report on opportunities within Epic UserWeb, Galaxy, or other software packages
Other
- Bachelors Degree, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Required)
- Masters Degree, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Required)
- 3-4 years relevant experience for Bachelors Degree, 1 year relevant experience for Masters Degree
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to identify and resolve challenges
- Maintain utmost confidentiality when handling protected health information
