The Clinical Insights & Program Design (C.I.P.D.) Analytic Solutions Team is looking to add a Business Intelligence Engineer to support the design and optimization of clinical programs that deliver value to the company and improve health outcomes.
Requirements
- Expertise in SQL and/or Python
- Experience with data creation, storage, and automating pipelines
- Understanding of basic methods for data analysis, summarizing data, and creating data visualizations
- Knowledge of PowerBI
- Experience with data products and BI tools
- Familiarity with quantitative disciplines such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Economics, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, Engineering, and/or related fields
- Experience with connecting data and technology platforms to transfer data elements
Responsibilities
- Create datasets for analysis and business intelligence purposes
- Develop dashboards using PowerBI
- Automate processes to run daily/weekly/monthly
- Connect data products/outputs to marketing and/or case management systems
- Create data visualizations
- Generate actionable insights for business partners
- Implement innovative clinical programs
Other
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
- 1 or more years of experience
- Interest and experience with quantitative disciplines
- Desire to make a positive impact on health outcomes
- Curious, eager to deliver quality work, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
- Must have a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
