Citi's Enterprise Analytics Services (EAS) team seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst to enhance Business Intelligence Services, ensuring quality standards are met within existing and planned frameworks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT experience
  • 4+ years of experience in administration or development of Starburst Enterprise Platform, Trino
  • 7+ years of hands-on administration experience with at least one major Business Intelligence (BI) product (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy)
  • 7+ years solid hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including experience with VMware
  • 5+ years of solid proficiency in Unix Shell scripting, Ansible, Python scripting
  • 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • 5+ years of strong knowledge of SQL language and hands-on experience with multiple Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), HiveQL, Spark

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, engineer, and enable data federation tools, specifically focusing on the efficient integration and accessibility of data across diverse business lines and disparate data sources
  • Evaluate and certify new product features and releases through structured testing and validation to ensure compatibility, performance, and security within the enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical ability in designing solutions with complex architectures involving multiple integrated platforms.
  • Engineer and customize enterprise platforms to align with evolving organizational requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design, build, and deliver containerized solutions, ensuring optimal resource utilization and scalability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations teams to provide technical guidance, develop fit-for-purpose automation tools, and support production needs.
  • Contribute to the overall system architecture and engineering strategy, promoting automation-first approaches and reusable design patterns.
