Requirements
- Proficient in data exploration and data wrangling using SQL.
- Experience building basic BI applications, dashboards, and data-driven tools to support business decision-making using SQL, R, Tableau.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional BI applications.
- Experience analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
- Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Tableau, and R Markdown
- Expertise in using statistical methods, including developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions.
- Programming including coding, debugging, and using SQL and R programming languages
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities with team to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI) applications and tools.
- Support developing and implementing automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.
- Compile data and analyses to drive business decision-making capabilities.
- Assist with identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
- Documenting BI data models, ETL processes, and reporting workflows, including using Bitbucket or Github for version control.
- Maintaining clear, accessible guides for dashboards, KPIs, and data sources.
- Ensuring documentation supports data governance and cross-team collaboration.
