Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc.) is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial performance metrics and assortment planning
- Ability to apply concepts of profitability and statistical inference to practical situations
- Ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals
- Must have excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Competitive shop to understand competitor assortment
- Assist in managing and tracking all meeting samples requested for area of responsibility
- Review sample execution with team
- Assist in creating initial styles in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system & Order Management System (OMS)
- Support in preparation for Mid-Point / Pre-Line Review, Line Review Meetings and Post Buy Recap meetings
- Assist in keying assortment purchase orders (PO) as well as managing and tracking POs throughout the season
- Work with Product Associate to update IMU Roll-Up throughout the season
Other
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Junior status (rising Senior at the time of the internship), pursuing a Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to influence others
- Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
