The Business Planning and Pricing team owns Strategic Packaging and Pricing for all of Google Cloud, including Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, AI Platform and Applications, and Google Maps Platform. As part of Business Planning and Pricing, our team focuses on AI platforms and developer offerings. We partner with relevant product and partnership teams to enable commercialization of their respective portfolios. We develop use-case-specific, value-based monetization models that resonate with both business and technology decision makers of enterprise customers and partners. Our scope is inclusive of enabling early adopters, cross-product solutions, packaging/pricing with business relevant meters, discounting models, channel economics, P/L planning and optimization, and other strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience working with and analyzing data and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
- Experience in product management, strategy development, problem solving, analytics, financial modeling, and market research design.
- Experience in value pricing and competitive pricing in the cloud/IT technology space.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Google Cloud’s leadership across functions to prioritize and define innovative packaging and pricing architecture.
- Create business generation principles, frameworks, and policies at scale across core product portfolios.
- Develop and leverage competitive and customer insights to inform business generation strategies.
- Establish pricing policies and structures across customer segments and channel structures.
- Leverage policies and structures to ensure business generation and customer retention of products and solutions and use them as a strategic lever to differentiate Google Cloud and drive market disruption.
Other
- 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
- Experience working cross-functionally across executive stakeholders in Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market/Business organizations.
- Excellent communication skills.
