Fidelity Private Shares team needs a Business Process Software Engineer to develop, test, deliver, and support workflows that drive clients’ interactions on the Fidelity Private Shares platform, and to research and develop new growth opportunities to expand on the strengths of the core technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting web applications in production with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript)
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions
- Understanding and experience working with source code management, testing, and CI/CD processes and tools such as Github and Jenkins
- A passion for engineering excellence; a desire to empower and collaborate with your teammates; a willingness to learn; and adaptability to new and changing requirements
- Ability and desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
- Experience with automation and testing to ensure code is robust
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Developing, testing, delivery, and support of the workflows that drive our clients’ interactions on the Fidelity Private Shares platform
- Researching and developing new growth opportunities to expand on the strengths of the core technology

- Working closely with technical leads and product managers to support our customers and inform the product
- Applying automation and tests to make sure code is robust as possible
- Learning and experimenting with new technologies and patterns
- Collaborating with teammates to empower and support each other

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office
- Dynamic working environment with a mix of onsite and offsite work
