Old Mission is looking to improve its automated trading infrastructure and develop the next generation of trading algorithms and strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing applications in C++ (with at least 3 years of C++ 11)
- Experience with C++ 11/14/17/20, Linux and Python and BASH scripting
- In-depth knowledge of the Linux kernel, systems programming
- Experience with writing applications connecting to exchange API’s or using network protocols
- Experience with parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming
- Prefer experience with low-latency computing and hardware-level design
- Experience with Git, SVN, Mercurial
Responsibilities
- Building and optimizing current automated trading infrastructure
- Developing the next generation of the firm’s trading algorithms and strategies
- Creating and developing scalable multi-tiered applications
- Working directly with Traders and Quants to develop trading algorithms and strategies
- Developing low latency systems
- Writing applications connecting to exchange API’s or using network protocols
- Developing parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming

- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical related field
