Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground Segment, supporting program maturity and mission achievement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C++ code
- Experience with Python
- Experience with RedHat Linux environment - developing code
- Experience with Whole Software design lifecycle
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.)
- Experience with Agile
- Experience with the CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Responsibilities
- design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground Segment
- support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission
- Development is done within the Agile paradigm using the Atlassian tool suite
- digest changes and synthesize them into working designs
- generate efficient code according to the specifications
- adapt to changes as necessary that are driven by bugs or specification updates or the customer
- handle diverse assignments with efficiency, finding unique solutions

- Requires an active Top-Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance [TS/SCI] at time of application
- Must be able and willing to favorably succeed a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
