Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust applications for an Air Force Mission Application, driving positive and lasting change that moves missions and the government forward

Requirements

  • DoD 8570 Compliant with IAT Level II certification (ex: CompTIA Security+)
  • Experience in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or Node.js
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Understanding of security best practices in web development
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for full-stack development
  • Proficiency in containerization using Docker and management of Linux (RHEL) systems
  • Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end components of web applications
  • Implement and manage server-side logic using programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, and/or Ruby
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with front-end components
  • Manage and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop
  • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both front-end and back-end development

Other

  • Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
