Labcorp is looking to solve business and IT strategy alignment through the development and implementation of enhancements and revisions to meet client needs, requiring a Cache/IRIS Software Engineer to perform application analysis, design, development, testing, deployment support, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 6 years of Intersystems Cache/IRIS development experience
- Experience with Cache Objects and Cache Object Script
- Exposure to legacy MUMPS programming
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
- Experience with design and development of REST/SOAP APIs
- Intermediate SQL query skills
- Experience with Cache/IRIS web application development (CSP pages)
Responsibilities
- Works closely with team members to understand business requirements, analyze code and deliver quality technical solutions.
- Perform application analysis, design, and development, unit test, deployment support and maintenance throughout the development life cycle.
- Develop and implement enhancements and revisions to meet the needs of the client.
- Provide technical support to colleagues and clients on technical aspects of projects.
- Maintain day-to-day system support and development activities of systems and technologies.
- Participate in the delivery of quality software through effective design and peer reviewing of code, unit testing.
- Involve in the full system life cycle and is responsible for design, code, test, implement, maintain and support application software that is delivered within time and cost budget.
