Our client in Livonia, MI is looking for a CAE Engineer CFD to contribute to the advancement of virtual tools and methodologies, specifically in the development of cutting-edge solutions for electric motors, power units, transmissions, axles, and related systems.

Responsibilities
- Prepare CAD for CFD Modeling: Develop high-quality CAD models for CFD simulations, ensuring accuracy and relevance to system requirements.
- Plan CFD Methods Development: Design and implement CFD methods as virtual tools for systems such as electric motors, power units, transmissions, axles, and more.
- Conduct Advanced CFD Simulations: Perform simulations for complex physics applications, including two-phase flow, conjugate heat transfer (CHT), and turbulence modeling.
- Plan Physical Tests for CFD Correlation: Coordinate with testing teams to plan physical tests that validate CFD methods and ensure accuracy.
- Correlate CFD Methods: Compare simulation results with physical test data, refine methods, and document best practices.
- Automate Processes: Develop and implement automation scripts using languages like Java and Python to streamline CFD workflows and improve efficiency.
- Prepare Presentations and Communicate Regularly: Share findings, updates, and recommendations with the Systems team through clear and concise presentations and reports.
