Requirements
- MS in EE/CE/Physics/Optics
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment
- System engineering approach to quickly familiarize yourself with complex processes
- Experience with driving AI/ML projects
- Experience with fabrication and assembly of camera and optical sensors
- Experience with computer vision algorithms
- Programming experience in C, C++ or Objective C
Responsibilities
- specification, design, development, validation and optimization of test systems and algorithms for camera calibration prior to Apple’s new product introduction (NPI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test coverage, analyze data, and drive failure mode root cause analysis
- Model and simulate instrumentation errors, and ensure measurement uncertainty meets product requirements
- Balance engineering requirements with manufacturing efficiency, defining quality controls processes
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, strategy to enhance team capabilities/deliveries
