Google is looking to solve the problem of designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience, specifically focusing on camera system software for Pixel devices
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in C++ programming
- Experience in embedded systems development
- Experience working with cameras or imaging
- Knowledge of embedded systems development, Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) concepts, device drivers and hardware/software integration
- 2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve camera system software that implements a robust and performant programmable camera pipeline
- Write product or system development code
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
- Ability to work in the US
