American Express is looking for a Data Engineer intern to help shape experiences for one of the world's top brands by designing and optimizing data architectures and pipelines, fostering innovation in data infrastructure, and executing Big Data management strategies.
Requirements
- Experience in SQL and Python (or any other programming language like Java)
- Proven interest in technologies and customer-driven design
- Strong analytical/quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex concepts or problems.
- Independent thinker with intellectual curiosity and desire to continually learn about the changing payments landscape and emerging technologies.

- Master's degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical field

- Ability to collaborate with and build strong relationships with leaders, colleagues in different time zones, and cross-functional partners to deliver value.
