Fannie Mae is looking for Technology Program Interns to help solve technical problems and contribute to the development of solutions that meet customer needs, improve technology transformation initiatives, and drive strategic insights through data and AI/ML.
Requirements
- Understanding software development and programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with various technical frameworks and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with databases, software design and development in a test-driven environment

Responsibilities
- contribute to designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes
- contribute to creating and maintaining IT architecture, cloud-based systems, data infrastructure, data analytics platforms, and securing against cyber security threats
- collaborate with senior staff to help implement modern technologies and maintain tools using industry standard best practices
- apply your fundamental knowledge of a process-driven approach in designing solutions for our customers and internal partners
- Producing clean, efficient software solutions to meet customer needs
- Integrating software components and third-party applications
- Providing support to production applications, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software
Other
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (2027 graduation date)
- Computer Sciences and Engineering majors are preferred. Other technical majors will be considered based on a candidate’s technical experience and/or aptitude.
