Booz Allen is looking for a Senior Capability Developer to support full project lifecycles in a rapidly evolving systems security research and development environment, guiding an agile team to manage reverse engineering and vulnerability analyses, inform operational parameters for complex systems, and leverage AI/ML to combat advanced adversaries and defend national security.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with software development using C or C++ and Python
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile software development and DevOps environment using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
- 3+ years of experience working with web technologies or protocols, including HTTP, TLS, and JSON
- Experience with the Linux Kernel
- 4+ years of experience with Assembly or PerlScript
- 3+ years of experience in computer engineering, computer science, electronic and electrical engineering, or applied mathematics
- Experience with Unix, Linux, RTOS, or Wind River VxWorks
Responsibilities
- Guiding an agile team of professionals, you’ll manage reverse engineering and vulnerability analyses of various software problems.
- You’ll inform operational parameters for complex systems, as well as leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work.
- Using your network operations experience, you’ll determine what the art of the possible is and what can be done—and then you’ll bring it to life for your clients.
- Experience gathering requirements and designing and developing approaches for product security, resilient cryptographic solutions, and anti-forensic measures
- Experience using automation and virtualization to deploy, maintain, and sustain capabilities
- Experience developing and executing strategies for countering or mitigating environmental challenges, security and policy constraints, and system or architecture limitations
- Experience with advanced software development, analytic development, and DevOps techniques for malware variants, advancing crypt capabilities, and emerging unknown protocols

- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
