Truist needs to produce data, reports, or packages of reports utilizing databases, data assets, and applications to provide information to business leaders, ensuring data consistency with business needs and addressing data integrity issues. The role also supports Market Risk Management by understanding regulatory impacts on Capital Markets and translating business needs into technical specifications for data analytics and reporting.
Requirements
- Experience with Data analysis and sound SQL skills
- Exposure to Data warehousing
- Data Analytics/Business Intelligence/Reporting tool exposure
- Front office trading systems exposure (e.g. Calypso, WallStreet systems, etc.)
- Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Produces data, reports or package of reports utilizing databases, data assets, applications and more to provide information to business leaders.
- Ensures data pulled is consistent with business needs/requests.
- Reviews information to identify data integrity issues and provides feedback to application/ database administrators to ensure any issues are addressed.
- Partner with business, technology and operations teams to support Market Risk Management on their data, analytic, metrics, calculation and reporting capabilities/requirements.
- Work closely with the business users to identify the appropriate solutions to meet regulatory, analytic and management needs.
- Ability to elicit requirements from the business, translate into technical specification, ensure a strong interface with technology teams, manage testing and remediation efforts.
- Drive data analytics and reporting focused on regulatory matters, operational metrics, and productivity metrics.
