TrinityRail Maintenance Services is looking for a Product Surface Prep (Blaster) to prepare product surfaces for coating operations by operating various tools and equipment, ensuring surfaces are free from contaminants and ready for coating application.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Operate tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations.
- Operate automated blast systems and hand-held grit ball blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.
- Purge surfaces of all chemicals and contaminants through simple processes.
Other
- Follow all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in committees or initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work day or night shift as needed
