The client is looking for a CATIA Programmer/Developer to automate the creation of parametric models for high volumes of similar parts and expand the tool database in other segments.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Visual basic and/or C++.
- Minimum 3 years of CATIA V5 experience.
- CATIA V5 experience in the following workbenches: Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, Knowledge Advisor, Knowledge Expert, DMU Space Analysis, and DMU Navigator.
- Must have experience with Power copies, UDF’s and templates.
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve parametric models in CATIA V5.
- Experience with CAA Rade, html, css, php, python.
- Experience with CATIA V6 and/or 3D experience.
Responsibilities
- Creating parametric models to automate making high volumes of similar parts.
- Develop new automation/tool development for internal customers (R&D engineering).
- Help expansion of tool database in other segments.
- Existing tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
- End user support (working with internal customers to troubleshoot and improve tools).
- Tool documentation (help docs, demo videos, etc.).
- Support implementation of data analytics (tracking usage, time savings and flagging underutilized tools and areas for improvement).
Other
- Working in a team of 3-4 and sharing thoughts & ideas collaboratively.
- Promoting awareness for new applications (training, new tool advertising, etc.).
- Website maintenance.
- Weekly status reporting.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
