CDIS (Cyber Data Integration Solutions) team delivers cybersecurity metrics by partnering with various security teams across the bank and for the benefit of various audiences (from operational, to GRC, audit, and organizational leadership). To support these efforts, CDIS Data Engineers are tasked with building, optimizing, and maintaining the data pipelines and aiding in building the data ecosystem for delivering enterprise data for wide consumption including developing data models, corresponding data architecture documents and APIs.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT architecture and concepts, data integration concepts and big data concepts
- Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD framework, agile methodology, and SSDLC
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT architecture and concepts, data integration concepts, and dashboard/report tools
- Knowledge of data technologies (ETL, Data warehouse, Databases, SAS and other Analytics tools)
Responsibilities
- Builds, manages, and implements the data and/or Big Data pipeline capabilities including data modeling, process design and overall data pipeline architecture and all phases of the ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes.
- Drives efforts related to partially to completely automate repeatable data preparation and integration tasks.
- Partner with technology teams to understand data capture, testing needs, and to build and test end-to-end solutions.
- Analyzes information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
- Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.
- Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
- supporting general maintenance of the application production environment with the goal of ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of the metrics at all times.

- This role is office centric, 4 days a week in the office (Atlanta is Preferred)

- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in systems engineering or administration or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects
- Analytical and critical thinking capabilities and ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
