CENIC Operations Intern is a part-time, temporary student position to support the Network Operations team in maintaining and improving the California Research and Education Network (CalREN).
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of IP-based networking, including knowledge of routing protocols
- Familiarity with office productivity tools such as email, calendaring, and MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of computers and network security
Responsibilities
- Documentation audits and updates
- Updating customer contact information
- Abuse ticket processing and follow-up
- Security ticket processing and follow-up
- Compiling Weekly Outage Reports
- OOB testing
- ISO Vulnerability Remediation tracking
