The Department of Defense is looking to advance its mission to keep the country safe and secure by leveraging data science and artificial intelligence, and GDIT is seeking an AI/ML Engineer Senior to contribute to this effort.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience with full lifecycle and secure and automated development of at least one of the following: data management, data analytics or Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML)
- Experience with data visualization packages in Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised deep learning algorithms like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and advanced deep learning packages such as TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, and Theano
- Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
- Experience utilizing Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management
- Experience working with programming languages such as Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive, and/or Elixir
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and data analytics tools

- Lead the DevSecOps of data analytic, AI/ML models, RPA applications and decision support applications
- Work in conjunction with the Chief Engineer to develop template or sample applications for each
- Utilize the Advana multi-cloud and multi-enclave Platform
- Develop and implement AI/ML models and data analytics solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions with existing systems

- Travel Required: 10-25%
- Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) with specialization in one or more of the following (e.g., Data Science, AI, or Robotic Process Automation)
- 5 + years of related experience
